1. Do I need a script from a doctor to come for Physical Therapy?
No. In the state of MD and the District of Columbia you are allowed Direct Access. Although, with the current uncertain and changing insurance climate I encourage patients to get a script from their physician.
2. Do you take/accept my health insurance?
ORPT is a cash-based Physical Therapy practice. We are not a preferred providers for any insurance company. This includes Medicare. Payment is due at time of service. We will provide you a bill to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement (except Medicare). Most companies provide reimbursement for patients through out-of-network benefits. Please contact your insurance provider prior to attending the first treatment session to determine your reimbursement rate/out-of-network benefits.
3. What form of payment do you accept?
We currently accept cash, check payment and Zelle.

Payment is due at time of service
5. How much time will the Physical Therapist spend with me each treatment session?
Each appointment at ORPT is approx. 60min. All scheduled appointments are one-on-one sessions with the Physical Therapist. Appointments are exclusively set for each patient. This provides individual time with each patient during every treatment session.
6. What is your Cancellation Policy?
Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. For this reason we maintain a 48hr cancellation policy. If you cancel or don't show for an appointment without providing at least 48 hours advance notice, you will be charged the appointment fee. No further appointment will be scheduled until the cancellation charge has been paid in full. We consider your time to be just as valuable as ours. We respect appointment times and will not keep you waiting to see the therapist.
7. What type of clothing should I wear to my appointment?
We recommend wearing workout clothes or comfortable lose fitting clothing to you appointment.
