Luckily, I met Andrea in a running store 3 weeks before the Marine Corps Marathon. I had trained so diligently for 3+ months and suddenly, while on a run, my calf muscle locked-up and I could barely walk. I hobbled into the store seeking guidance and the owner introduced me to Andrea who was there buying new shoes. Twice a week for three weeks, she massaged, needled, and pampered my leg. And told me "No Running," which made sense since I could barely walk. By week 3, the pain was gone, but I was so nervous that I wouldn't make it. She then became my "coach/therapist" convincing me I was ready. And, I did it, but only because Andrea worked miracles!

She's the best!!! I once ventured out to try new PT's because there are a bunch close to my office. I wasted time with 3 different PT's and none were anywhere close to as good as Dr. Jacobson-Suarez. Somehow she always knows which exercises/stretches will get me back in the game!

This letter of recommendation is written on behalf of Andrea Jacobson PT, who I have known professionally for a number of years. She has cared for my sons, my wife and my own PT rehabilitation needs.

Andrea is absolutely the best physical therapist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting and having as my therapist. Her care of my physical rehabilitation and those of my family has been phenomenal. Her knowledge of the anatomy and the interrelationship between physical deficits, injury and the required treatments is extensive.

Her evaluation skills are in depth and thorough. Her expertise and professionalism is of the highest level. Her rehabilitation plans and therapies are well thought out and all inclusive. She formulates exercise regimens custom designed for each patient and each problem. I cannot speak highly enough of her exceptional knowledge and skills.

Without a doubt she will be an asset to whoever uses her services. I can speak with full authority as not only have I played professional sports in my youth but also as an anesthesiologist with a Master’s Degree in anatomy and physiology, I can assure you she knows her field of expertise.

I can only use superlatives to describe the professionalism and knowledge base that Andrea possesses as a physical therapist. I recommend her heartily and without any reservations.

If you wish any further information and I can be of assistance please contact me at the address above.

Sincerely,

M.S. MD

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Andrea. I refer to her as “the fixer” as she always leaves me better walking out than I was walking in rather than just sending me home with exercises. The people who referred me to her and who I have referred to her all feel the same. She is detailed, takes her time with you to find the root of the problem, kind and smart. If you need a PT look no further.

Dr. Jacobsen-Juarez is the best physical therapist I've had by far! Over the years I have gotten several issues permanently resolved, including hip misalignment/tightness and plantar fasciitis. She goes above and beyond to understand your pain and uses hands-on techniques as well as stretching/strengthening exercises to get you back into working order. Highly recommend!

Andrea is a miracle worker. I had back and neck pain for years and years. After seeing numerous doctors who either misdiagnosed me or said they couldn’t figure out the cause of my pain, I was referred to Dr. Jacobson-Juarez. Within 5 minutes of the start of my first appointment, I knew I had finally found the right person. She first asked me to stand up and look at her. Almost immediately, she said something that I thought I would never hear. She said, “I know exactly what’s wrong with you.” She then asked questions, which, based on the area of my pain and my history, made so much sense. She then did a very thorough examination, which confirmed her initial diagnosis.

One of the many things I really appreciate about Dr. J is that she takes thorough notes at the start of the appointment about how I felt during the week and again at the end to document what she had done and my response during the session. Dr. J is incredibly bright and knowledgeable about the body and movement. She used terms that made this clear, however, she always followed up her medical explanation with a thorough explanation in layman’s terms.

I no longer have to see Dr. J every week. I now spend the majority of my days pain free, and if some pain returns for any reason, she taught me simple exercises to help alleviate the pain. I’ve been back a couple of times for quick tune-ups for my back. I really never thought the day would come that I could say the words “pain free.” I wasn’t an easy fix, especially because we had to switch over to my knee when I had to have surgery. She never gave up on me during the time I saw her, even when I confessed to not doing my exercises during the week.

I highly recommend Dr. J. You should see her if you know exactly what your problem is, and you should call her immediately if you’ve had chronic pain that has never been accurately diagnosed. She loves challenges and will make it her mission to be the last doctor or physical therapist you’ll ever have to see!

Optimum Results took the time to fully understand and treat my pain related to herniated discs. I left every session feeling more informed about my body (what was causing my pain, how I could take better care of myself, etc) as well as feeling physically better. Dr. Jacobson utilized a variety of techniques to relieve my pain, as well as outlined clear "homework" for me to strengthen my body.

Dr. Jacobson has helped me overcome different back, knee and ankle injuries, focusing on building strength needed for sustainable change. How does she do this? She is methodical and takes time to understand the problem from its root cause and design a plan for progress. Dr. Jacobson's commitments to her clients is evident, she follows-up on every visit and more than once has exceeded the allocated time to ensure thorough treatment. She also imparts her knowldge on her patients to help them understand interconnections and be more mindful during movement. I can't recommend her enough!

Dr. Jacobson-Juarez is amazing! She quickly diagnosed a lingering, chronic problem with my knee, solved the problem with treatment, and gave me the tools to address it myself if it recurs. Plus she is very personable and easy to work with. My experience could not have been better.

It is hard to sum up all the outstanding qualities that Dr. Jacobson-Juarez brings to her work. She is ever so smart, thoughtful, creative, and dedicated. I initially met her when I reluctantly consulted her about neck pain of 2 years duration, with multiple failed treatment attempts. Her diagnosis and treatment solved what I thought would be a chronic problem. Since then she has "fixed" numerous problems using a wide variety of treatment modalities. She always seems to know just what to do. She really cares about her patients whom she treats in the most professional way. She is my "go-to" person and I recommend her without reservation.

A little more than a year ago, I came to Dr. Jacobson-Juarez for plantar fasciitis and resulting problems with my hip. When those issues were resolved, I realized how many other parts of my body (e.g., neck, back) were “tight” and uncomfortable. Dr. Jacobson is now systematically working on those, too. Each time, I feel better when I leave a session; each time, I wonder why I didn’t seek PT expertise years sooner!

But Dr. Jacobson is more than just a skilled PT technician; she is a wonderful clinician. She listens carefully to a patient’s own description of “what’s wrong” and “what hurts” – and then translates that information into treatment. She understands that a PT patient is a “whole person, “ not just muscles – that life and its stresses impact bodies and overall well being. She provides practical suggestions for home – not just exercises but improved ways of moving through life (e.g., posture at the computer).

Finally, Dr. Jacobson is sensitive, caring, and comfortable to be with. And, she is always on time and on top of appointments and any changes!

My therapy with Dr J-J came at a time when I had constant pain and weakness in my right leg. She did a thorough evaluation then began my treatment program. She was very informative about what she was doing, expected results, and potential length of treatment plan. She was also very personable every step of the way. And has been available to me to ‘give me a tune up’ if needed.
I also found her office to be comfortable and her promptness with appointments was greatly appreciated.

I have known Dr. Jacobson-Juarez for over 15 years. She initially cured me of a chronic back pain, something multiple other professionals had not been able to treat successfully. Some ten years later, when I needed a physical therapist for a different reason, I left no stone unturned until I finally found her through LinkedIn and reconnected. I not only appreciate Dr. Jacobson-Juarez for her professional expertise and caring, but also for her willingness to go the extra mile to help her patients find relief: She is well-connected in the profession and highly respected by her colleagues and can thus help her patients find the appropriate additional medical care, if needed. She is also highly flexible and accessible for consultation in-between appointments and resourceful in her treatment options as well as recommending supplemental at-home exercises. One of her strongest attributes is her sense of precision to go to the source of the pain to treat the triggers. In sum, I highly recommend Dr. Jacobson-Juarez for personalized, knowledgeable treatment.

As so many have written already, Andrea is terrific. I have L3-L4 spinal compression, like most other golfers. Through her treatments, she has enabled me to continue to play and function. Her treatments expanded to the rest of my back, which had more knots than in the Boy Scout handbook. With deft skilled fingers she unties them. I am like a new man when I leave her office. I have recommended her to others who have had similar excellent results. Indeed, optimum results. If you are in need of serious treatment, she is the one to pick as your PT, Doctor. Her office and equipment are superb. And, she has compassion and a delightful personality.

I saw Dr. Jacobson-Juarez for plantar fasciitis and a bone spur in 2017. I received great care and would highly recommend her. She was diligent, thoughtful and incredibly patient, which my stubborn case required. Dr. Jacobson was acutely focused on my condition, but also realistic about what she knew my busy life could endure and tailored exercises and treatment accordingly. I greatly appreciated that holistic approach. She helped me reach of goal of recovery without surgery for which I'll forever be grateful. Dr. Jacobson is magic.

I have been seeing Dr. Andrea Jacobson Juarez for almost a year, and what a difference she has made in my life. I have stenosis in my back and neck and have had other problems that she has addressed with incredible skill and patience. She deeply understands how the body works and has been able to clearly explain that to me in ways that have enabled me to understand what would be helpful and to use that knowledge to gain strength and flexibility that I thought impossible while alleviating the pain. She has given me exercises, which I do at home that combined with the sessions with her, have made a world of difference in both my posture and pain level. I also greatly appreciate that Andrea values her patient’s time; she is very organized and never makes her patients wait more than a few minutes. In short, Dr. Jacobson Juarez is a very skilled professional and a delightful person that I highly recommend.

In May of 2021, I was in desperate need of vestibular therapy - on a weekend, when nobody was open to even take calls. I sent out emails right and left. Dr. Andrea got back to me within minutes and scheduled an appointment for Monday early morning. It was a frightening experience laying on her therapy table with the room spinning. She did magic, she talked me through the procedure, she put me at ease - not rushing me out, even sending an email to the next patient to come in later. After an hour of consultation and treatment, I was feeling much better. Dr. Andrea saw me two more times which was enough to send me back to a normal life without vertigo.

I would recommend Dr. Jacobsen-Juarez to anybody - she is a very committed, excellent therapist - I give her 5 stars out of 5.

I can't emphasize enough how seeing Andrea has changed my life for the better. I have been a patient of hers for 4+ years, through 3 surgeries for 3 different injuries and multiple strains, pulls, and pains. Doc takes physical therapy to a whole other level. You will always see her and you will see her for the whole hour. She cares, she's very safe and responsible vis-à-vis COVID and has a knowledge level about how the body works that is unparalleled. Once she helps you, you very well may adopt her as part of your family and refer all your friends to her as I have.
